1. Running burns more energy, specially with air resistance

Yes, running can control the level of cholesterol in your body by enhancing high-density lipoprotein, or HDL. And yes, this kind of activity can burn all the extra sugar and fat that you have in your body. But if you do it outdoors, you can burn more! This is because the outdoors have more air resistance than indoors, i.e. running at the same pace on your treadmill. So, if you want to burn more, go outside!

2. Gives you more energy

Do you get tired easily? Running is a cure for fatigue! As your stamina increases, you’ll have more and more endurance to any physical and mental effort. Specially if you run regularly!

3. Slows down the aging process

There’s something about running that delays the process of aging. Running helps your have healthier lungs, or can give you more clean oxygenated blood circulating in your body. If you want to have a glowing skin, mental alertness and a stronger body, run!

4. Stronger than yesterday!

Running regularly can indeed make you stronger. As your fats burn and your muscles develop, your pain tolerance increases. With more tolerance, you can endure more physical strain. What is difficult for you today, may not be much difficult at all in the next two to three weeks from now. So start running!
